Who is this guy?
With a background in law enforcement and a deep commitment to mental health, I have a unique perspective to my work as a therapist. Before becoming a clinician, I served as a police officer, where I encountered firsthand the toll that high-stress environments, trauma, and addiction can take on individuals and their families. This experience shaped my passion for helping first responders, as well as those struggling with the impact of violence, PTSD, and substance use.
In addition to my work with first responders, dispatchers, and nurses, I have extensive experience working with violent offenders and individuals facing significant trauma. I understand the complexities of human behavior, including the cycles of addiction and the deep wounds left by abuse, loss, and crisis. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness, alongside a spiritual component for those who seek it.
Recognizing that healing is not just psychological but also emotional and spiritual, I provide a place where clients can explore faith as a source of strength and resilience. Whether working with first responder personnel, veterans, individuals battling addiction, or those carrying the weight of past trauma, my goal is to foster healing, growth, and renewed purpose.
If you’re looking for a therapist who understands the unique challenges of high-risk professions, the impact of violence, and the power of faith in recovery, I am here to help..
